CARRIE AGNES FERGUSON

Carrie Agnes Ferguson, age 92, of Uhrichsville, formerly of Tippecanoe, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia.

Born May 17, 1924 at Belmont County, Ohio, Carrie was the daughter of the late Ernest B. and Elva A. (Luyster) Hamilton.

In addition to her parents, Carrie is preceded in death by her husband Donald F. Ferguson, who passed away on January 19, 2007; one brother; 3 sisters and a son-in-law Dave Love.

Carrie was a homemaker and an active member of the Tippecanoe United Methodist Church.  She loved to square dance, garden and crochet.  There was not a more dependable person than Carrie.

Carrie is survived by her children Donald (Kathy) Ferguson of New Philadelphia, Keith (Carmen) Ferguson of Amherst and Carol Sue Love of Uhrichsville; a brother Ernest Leroy (Judy) Hamilton of Mission, Texas; 7 grandchildren Bryan (Hallie) Ferguson, Chris (Kris) Ferguson, Derek (Lindsay) Ferguson, Kevin (Lauren) Love, Kari Sue Love, William (Irene) Ortiz and Christina Ortiz; 7 great grandchildren Hayleigh, Hayden, Maddox, Carter, Blake, Zarian, Mason and one on the way.

Funeral services for Carrie will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. David Koch officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenmont Union Cemetery in Freeport.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tippecanoe United Methodist Church.
