DONALD EUGENE KREINBIHL

Donald Eugene Kreinbihl, age 72, of New Philadelphia, O., passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at his residence, battling a lengthy illness.

He was a son to the late Donald R. Kreinbihl and Estella M. (Kail) Kreinbihl

In addition to his parents, Don is preceded in death by his wife Ann B. (Campbell) Kreinbihl, who he married and celebrated 38 years of marriage until her passing on September 22, 2014.

Don is survived by his children Angela Burton (companion Mike Searls) of Dennison and Douglas R. Kreinbihl (companion Cecelia Krocker) of New Philadelphia; brother Robert (Blodwen) Kreinbihl of Carrolton; grandchildren Derek (Carly Walker) Kreinbihl of Akron, Sonni Kreinbihl of Uhrichsville and Amber (Alex Walker) Burton of Dennison; nephews Steve and Chris and great nephew Andy.

Don graduated from Uhrichsville High School in 1963.  He was a mechanic most of his life and also worked at Gundy Construction.  Don and his late wife Ann contributed a lot of time to the Democratic Party of Tuscarawas County.  He was a life member of the Dennison Eagles and the New Philadelphia VFW.

Don loved the Cleveland Indians and Browns.  In their younger years he and wife loved to travel.

Funeral services for Don will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. Mark Unrue officiating.  Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery in Gilmore.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
