ELIZABETH “BETTY” L. SPEICHER

Elizabeth “Betty” L. Speicher, age 83, of Dennison, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia.

Betty was born on July 26, 1933 in Canton (Waco), a daughter of 5 children to the late Carl and Esther Fry.

On September 26, 1959, Betty married Lester Speicher, who preceded her in death.  She is survived by two sisters Mary (Jim) McIntrye of Canton and Nesta (Tom) Speicher of Beach City.  Also surviving is a brother Carl Fry of Arkansas.  A sister Patricia Holva preceded her in death.

Betty retired from the Timken Company on December 1, 1982, after 30 years of service.  Betty and Lester lived on their Stonecreek farm for many years and they enjoyed working together on their farm.

In keeping with Betty’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be observed.  The family would like to thank Schoenbrunn Healthcare, nurses and aides, for their wonderful care they gave to her.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
