GAIL LEE PHILLIPS

Gail Lee Phillips, age 78, of Uhrichsville, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2017, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, O.

A son of the late Lee O. and Phyllis (Sproul) Phillips, Gail was born on November 16, 1938 in Rush Township.

On September 9, 1958, Gail married his wife of 59 years; Delores Faye Armstrong Phillips who survives of the home.  Also surviving are their children Leroy (Kim) Phillips and Rodney (Susan) Phillips all of Uhrichsville; siblings Lois Clarke of Mineral City and Wayne (Peggy) Phillips of Gallipolis; grandchildren Lukas (Angelica) Phillips, Lorna (Tyler) Waters, Logan Phillips, Kristy (Zethan) Dickey, Natalie (Mitchell) Dennis, Nichole (Jonathan) Miller and Nicholas Phillips; great grandchildren Zaron, Arielle, Garrett, Emma, Lillian, Remington and Sawyer.

Gail was employed at Reeves Steel until his retirement in 1999.  He enjoyed farming, gardening, hunting and fishing.

Funeral services for Gail will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Dennison Foursquare Gospel Church with the Pastor Rod Phillips officiating.  Burial will be private on the family farm.

Calling hours for Gail will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the church and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the church.
