JOHN WILLIAM DODDS

John William Dodds, age 92, of Uhrichsville, passed away December 26, 2017, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia, O., following a lengthy illness

The son of the late Dennis and Isabel (Hadley) Dodds, John was born April 19, 1925 in Wainwright.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sisters Mary (Dodds) Visintainer, Elizabeth (Dodds) Haugh, Doris (Dodds) Reidenbaugh, Irene Dodds and his daughters Paula Kay Dodds and Hope Elizabeth Dodds.

John is survived by his wife Nancy (Host) Dodds whom he married on June 8, 1946 in Uhrichsville, she survives of the home; his children William Dodds and his wife Roberta Dodds of Tuscan, AZ and Rebecca (Dodds) Page and her husband Marvin Page of Gnadenhutten; sister Margaret Davenport of Maneo, NC; 3 grandchildren Brett Dodds, Drew Dodds and Justin Page; 2 great grandchildren Lauren Dodds and Matthew Dodds.

John graduated from Uhrichsville High School and served his country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1945.  He retired from Gradall after 34 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Private family services will take place.
