MABEL EVALINA WESSON

Mabel Evalina Wesson, age 86, of Dennison, O.; passed away on April 7, 2017, at her residence, following a lengthy illness.

Born on June 10, 1930, in Dennison, Mabel was the daughter of the late Dewey L. and Lucille E. (Everett) Mathias.  Mabel graduated from Dennison High School and was employed for many years at Alsco Anaconda and also at numerous restaurants.  She enjoyed watching game shows in TV and the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers.

On December 16, 1951, Mabel married Paul R. Wesson.  They enjoyed 25 years of marriage until his passing in 1976.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mabel is preceded in death by her siblings Leona Paige, Otis (Alice) Mathias and Linda Rowe.

Mabel is survived by her brothers Adrian Mathias and Raymond (Tena) Mathias all of New Philadelphia; brothers-in-law George Paige and Lee Rowe both of Uhrichsville and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mabel’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be observed.  Inurnment will take place at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.
