MARGERY LUCILE MORRISON

Margery Lucile Morrison, age 92, of New Philadelphia, formerly of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Country Club Retirement Campus, following a lengthy illness. 

The daughter of the late Reuben and Elma (Wolf) Glazer, Margery was born September 21, 1925 in Port Washington, O.  She graduated from Port Washington High School and was a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.  Margery was employed as a secretary at the Coca Cola plant in Dennison and also Valley View Homes.  She was a member of the Twin City Professional Business Women, Eastern Star and the Lady Elks in Uhrichsville.

In addition to her parents, Margery is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Morrison, who passed away February 18, 2009; her sisters Ruby Brick, June Addy, Betty Everhart and step-sister Helen Wolfe.

Margery is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ronald E. and Shelley Morrison of New Philadelphia; her only grandchild Brian R. (Jenn Seifker) Morrison of Columbus; niece Barbara Tolloty of Dennison; nephews Steve and Stanley Addy of Coshocton .

Funeral services for Margery will be held at 12 noon, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. Mark Unrue officiating.  Burial will follow at Gnadenhutten Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m., on Monday, November 27, 2017, at the funeral home.
