MATTHEW HENRY

Matthew Henry, of Uhrichsville, O.; born December 26, 1986; died December 6, 2017, he was 30 years old.  He was a kind hearted person who loved life.

Matthew is survived by his parents Earl L. Henry Jr. and Janet S. (Griffiths) Henry of Uhrichsville; the love of his life and longtime companion Nikole P. Beatty, with whom he had 3 children with that he loved with all his heart Kameron Henry, Patrick Henry and Makenzi Henry; Nikole’s mother Diana Beatty; grandfather Earl L. Henry Sr.; brother Ricky Lee Henry (companion Trisha Orr); sisters Jennifer Stucin and Brooke Henry (companion Chad Hunt); many nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Matthew graduated from Claymont High School and Buckeye Career Center.  He was an excellent baseball and football player and was an excellent welder but he loved working in the oil rigs.  Matthew enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with Nikole and his children.  Hunting mushrooms was a big deal with all of them.  His laughter and jokes could change anyone’s bad mood into a good one.  Matthew will be missed by so many.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Edwin and Roberta Griffiths; grandmother Judy Kay Meechan Henry; uncle Rick Henry; niece Willow Kay Stucin and a great man in his life David Beatty.

Funeral services for Matthew will be held at 7 p.m., on Monday, December 11, 2017, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. in Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Lisa Meese officiating. 

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m., (three hours prior to services) on Monday, December 11, 2017, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
