Patricia "Patti" Ann (Riggs) Edwards

PATRICIA “PATTI” ANN EDWARDS

Patricia “Patti” Ann Edwards, age 82, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, following complications due to a stroke. 

The daughter of the late Jacob F. and Alice M. (Arnold) Riggs, Patti was born January 22, 1936 in Dennison, O.  She graduated from Dennison High School in 1953 and was employed at Dr. Kagaoan’s office as a secretary, Twin City Hospital and Camco Mortgage Co., until her retirement in 1997.  Patti attended the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.  She belonged to several card clubs and the Civic League.  Patti loved to shop, scrap book, cook and bake.

In addition to her parents, Patti is preceded in death by her son Mark Edwards, who passed away November 26, 2017; siblings Jacob, Gary and Blaine Riggs, Francis Iler and Marie LeMonte.

Patti is survived by her loving husband Ralph Edwards, who she married on January 2, 1955 in Dennison, and who survives of the home; a daughter Karen (Jerry) Roahrig of Lexington, Kentucky; sister Judy Riggs of Uhrichsville; grandchildren Jeremy and Jerad Roahrig of Lexington, Kentucky, Mark A. (Chelsea) Edwards Jr. of Findlay, O., and McKenzie Edwards of New Philadelphia; great grandchildren Nolan Roahrig, Caleb and Hannah Edwards.

Funeral services for Patti will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Shaun Green officiating.

Calling hours will be from 11 to 1 (two hours prior to services), on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at the funeral home.
