RAYMOND JACK KILPATRICK

1936-2017

Raymond Jack Kilpatrick, age 80, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2017.

A son of the late Foster and Mary (Stossel) Kilpatrick, Jack was born July 3, 1936 at Newport, O.  He graduated from Uhrichsville High School in 1954 and was a United States Army Veteran.  Jack retired from Gradall Industries in New Philadelphia in 1996 after 41 years.  He was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as Elder for many years.   Jack loved to fish, hunt and garden.  He enjoyed reading about the Civil War and visited many Civil War Battlefields.

On October 15, 1960, Jack married Marianne (Eichel) Kilpatrick, who survives of the home.  Also surviving are their daughters Maribeth (John) Gowins of New Philadelphia and Anne (Greg) Taylor of New Philadelphia; grandchildren Matt (Kayci) Gowins, Noah, Marin, Christopher and Colin Taylor; siblings Martha Besozzi of Uhrichsville, Margaret (Fred) Andreatta of Texas and Joann (Jack) Thomas of Virginia.

Services celebrating Jack’s life will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Uhrichsville with the Pastor Gordon Furbay officiating.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice House of New Philadelphia and the First Christian Church of Uhrichsville.
