TONYA JEAN MORRISON

Tonya Jean Morrison, age 48, of Dellroy, O.; went to her heavenly home on Monday, October 9, 2017, surrounded by her family and precious friends, at the Woodlawn Compassionate Care Center in Canton, O., following a short illness.

Born on November 1, 1968, Tonya is the daughter of Donald L. and Barbara J. (Phillips) Morrison of Port Washington.

Tonya was very compassionate and she loved to love people.  She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, flowers, shopping, fishing and her pet duck “Jumper J”.

Tonya is survived by her parents Donald and Barbara Morrison;  fiancé and care giver Joe Parkinson of Dellroy; her siblings Todd (Shelly) Morrison of Newcomerstown and Roxanne Morrison of Dover; nephews Eric (Tricia) Morrison, Travis (Kristen) Miller and Ethan (Haley) Miller; great nieces and nephews Riley, Luke, Logan, Leah and Paislee and Tonya’s extended family on both sides.

Funeral services for Tonya will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. in Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Tom Cunningham officiating.  Burial will take place at West Union Cemetery in Gilmore, at a later date.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m., on Friday, October 13, 2017 and one hour prior to services on Saturday, at the funeral home.
