CAROL ANN ARMSTRONG
Carol Ann Armstrong, age 76, of Gnadenhutten, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at her home.
The daughter of the late Ralph G. Riggs Sr. and Lois Catherine (Mahoney) Riggs Wyckoff, Carol was born in Palmer Park, Maryland, on September 29, 1947.
Carol was a merchandiser for Keebler for many years until her retirement. She then enjoyed her later years watching her great grandchildren which were her greatest joy. Carol was a member of the Gnadenhutten Moravian Church. She loved going to the beach, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to Midvale Speedway and she loved music especially Led Zeppelin.
On September 9, 1983, Carol married Randy Armstrong, who survives of the home. Also surviving is her daughter Troi Lynn (James) McKelvey of Gnadenhutten; siblings James E. (Lori) Riggs of Strasburg, Connie (Rod) English of Gnadenhutten; sister-in-law Margret Riggs of Germany; grandchildren Kasey (Samuel) Poorman of Gnadenhutten and Tyler (Breana Bryant) McKelvey of New Philadelphia; great grandchildren Abel, Alivya and River Poorman; brothers and sisters-in-law Deloris Yonley, Myron and Nikki Armstrong, Terry and Kay Armstrong, Carol Armstrong, David Armstrong and Myra (Cecil) Migoni; nieces and nephews David (Naybis) Riggs, Jennifer Riggs, Jennifer Smith, Jason (Heather Stein) Riggs and Brandon (Tara) English; aunt Joyce (Robin) Hutcherson and uncle Leo Mahoney.
Funeral services for Carol will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1 p.m., at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. in Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Brett Warkentine officiating. Burial will follow at Gnadenhutten Clay Union Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7, on Thursday, March 21, 2024 and one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
