ELEANOR L. LEE

Eleanor L. Lee, age 82, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation Center in Uhrichsville.

Born in Newport, on December 8, 1934, Eleanor was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Figley) Scott.

She liked ceramics, bingo, crafts and spending time visiting her friends at Beacon Pointe Rehabilitation Center and spending time with her family.

Eleanor is survived children Laureen Rene’ (Roy) Dakin and Alan W. Lee; grandchildren John Francis, Joanna Cox, Mike Muth, Michelle Shaw, Heather Lippencott Lee, Brian Allen Lee and Scott Lambert; plus several great grandchildren and sister-in-law Leanna Scott of Dover; brother Gale (Ruthann) Scott of Midvale; sisters Lola Milligan of Dennison, Faye Orr of Uhrichsville and Janice (Donald) Stevens of Newport.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor is preceded in death her husband Chester Lee who passed away November 19, 2003; her son Randy Best; great granddaughter Luann Laham; step-daughters Terrie Baker and Sue Muth; brothers Carl, Raymond and Robert Scott and sister Doris Fowler.

Funeral services for Eleanor will be held at 2 p.m., on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Rod Phillips and Pastor Matt Eggerton officiating.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 2 p.m., (one hour prior to services) on Monday, at the funeral home.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Uhrichsville’s Union Cemetery.
