EDITH IRENE ADAMS

Edith Irene Adams, age 91, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at her residence.

Born on May 28, 1925, in Blandville, West Virginia, Irene was the daughter of the late Claude E. and Edna (Richards) Adams.  Irene was a homemaker and Methodist by faith.  She enjoyed crafting, sewing, quilting, taking care of her home and spending time with her cat “Boots”.

Irene is survived by her extended family Arvilla and Doug Harding of Uhrichsville; Todd and Elizabeth Ellwood and their children Emilee and Clara; Thomas and Amber Harding and their son Bingham; Michele Harding; Trish and Dan Maurer and their children Lucas and Katelyn; Ann and Paul Grove and their children P. J. and Shay and devoted caregiver and friend Bev Wise.

In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by 3 sisters-her twin Eileen, Dorothy and “Georgie” Adams; 4 brothers Claude, Raymond, Leo and Norman Adams.

Memorial services for Irene will be held at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Cathy Hawkins officiating.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 7 p.m., (one hour prior to services) on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in West Virginia.
