GLENN EUGENE JONES

Glenn Eugene Jones, age 66, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Sycamore Run Nursing and Rehab in Millersburg.

Born on September 20, 1950 in Dennison, Glenn is the son of Donna (Gowins) Jones of Uhrichsville and the late Josiah F. Jones.

Glenn graduated from Claymont High School and served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971, serving two tours in Vietnam.  He was employed for 20 years as a truck driver for Vision Trucking Express.  Glenn enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Hey Jack’s Sportsmen Club.

Glenn is survived by his son Jason J. (Stacy M.) Jones of Valrico, Florida; his mother Donna Jones of Uhrichsville and three grandchildren Jordan A., Justin T., and Josie B. Jones; siblings John F. Jones and Dave R. Jones both of Uhrichsville.

In addition to his father, Glenn is preceded in death by a brother Gary L. Jones.

Memorial services for Glenn will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 3 p.m., at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville with the Rev. Brett Warkentine officiating.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m., (two hours prior to services) on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
