LEANNA MAE SCOTT

Leanna Mae Scott, age 83, of Dover, O.; went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, at the Truman House Community Hospice in New Philadelphia, O., following a short term illness.

Born on March 22, 1934 in Tuscarawas, Leanna was the daughter of Oscar Raymond and Sarah Alice (Mathias) Gladman.

In addition to her parents, Leanna is preceded in death by her husband Robert Scott; a brother Raymond Gladman; a son Leroy Roberts and a grandson Leland Roberts.

Leanna was employed at Trinity Hospital Twin City as a housekeeper for 45 years.  She was a member of the Word of Faith Christian Center in Dover.  Leanna loved traveling, going to yard sales, flowers and she was a member of the Precious Moments Club.

Leanna is survived by her son Dwane (Connie) Roberts of Uhrichsville; her siblings Mary (Harry) Moulton, Ruth (Norman) Ash and David “Sonny” (Joyce) Gladman; three grandchildren Lisa Erwin (companion Ben), Jason (Crissy) Roberts and Amber Roberts; five great grandchildren Lindsey, Tyler and Blayne Erwin, Lauryn and Wyatt Murphy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Leanna will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. in Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Jim Baker officiating.  Burial will follow at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
