NORMA JEAN (YOUNG) BOROJEVICH
Norma Jean (Young) Borojevich, age 85, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, following a period of declining health. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 17, 1932, in Tuscarawas, Norma Jean was a daughter of the late John M. and Grace M. (Medley) Young.
Norma Jean was a 70+ year member of the Uhrichsville First United Methodist Church and a 1951 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. She was a former employee of the Ohio Bell Telephone Company in Uhrichsville and loved her friends of the Classy Classmates.
She was married November 12, 1954, at St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church in Akron, to Milan “Mike” Borojevich Jr., who survives of the home. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in November.
Also surviving are five children Milan “Mike” III, Milana Grace, Cathy Jean (Russ) Cottis, Nicholas John (Mia) and Carla Jean (Steve) Harmon. Twelve grandchildren Mia and Lia Borojevich, Louis, Jeanna, Marija and Joe Cottis, Eric, Milana and Margaret “Meg” Harmon, Abigail, Nicholas and Lucas Borojevich and one great grandson Shilo, completes the family.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by three brothers Water, Emmett and Carl; three sisters Hazel, Marge and Delores; and a special brother-in-law Joe Ruffini.
Private services for Norma Jean will be held at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.
A celebration of Norma Jean’s life will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 1 p.m., at the Uhrichsville First United Methodist Church with Pastor Shaun Green officiating.
