STEPHEN “STEVIE” TODD LONG
Stephen “Stevie” Todd Long, age 57, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, from complications due to pneumonia.
Stevie is the son of the late Robert “Steve” Long and Susan K. (Carrothers) Long. After graduation, Stevie was employed at SEI Starlite. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Uhrichsville. Stevie was a Browns, Buckeyes and Notre Dame fan. He loved to play sports and was a medalist in many sports through the Special Olympics.
Stevie is survived by his step mother Roxie Long of Zoarville; his siblings Scott Long of Austintown, Tom (Lisa) Long of Zoarville, David (Lanette) Smith of Web City, Missouri and Todd (Veronica) Smith of Gardener, Kansas; along with numerous nieces, nephews and one great nephew.
In addition to his parents, Stevie is preceded in death by a nephew Alex.
Funeral services for Stevie will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with Dave Mellard officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.
Calling hours will be from 11 to 12 p.m., (one hour prior to services) on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the funeral home.
