Anna Belle (Trushell) Smith

ANNA BELLE SMITH       

Anna Belle Smith, age 93, of Tuscarawas, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, following a period of declining health.

Anna Belle was born on April 17, 1930 in Uhrichsville, to the late Henry F. and Georgia E. (Utter) Trushell.  In addition to her parents, Anna Belle is preceded in death by her husband Glenn Smith, who passed away March 7, 2019.

Anna Belle loved children, sewing, cooking and baking.

She is survived by her children Sue Smith of Tuscarawas, Linda (Dave) Norman of Newcomerstown, Glenn “Bubba” (Bonnie) Smith of Uhrichsville, Rose Smith of Tuscarawas and Christina Smith of Pennsylvania; brother Ralph Trushell of Uhrichsville; grandchildren Jessica “Shon” Smith, Mark Norman, Devin (Peggy) Norman, Pamela (Jeff) Honabarger and Justin (Quyen) Smith; great grandchildren Abby (Spencer) Fox, Reed Honabarger, Marshall Norman, Kennedy Norman, Jaylyn Kellogg, Ayla Norman, Ezra Norman, Paris Norman, Chase Norman, Ty Nguyen, Mary Nguyen and Mint Nguyen and great great grandson Warren Fox.

Memorial services for Anna Belle will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Four Square Gospel Church in Dennison with the Pastor Rod Phillips officiating.
