Cathy May Orr, age 78, of New Philadelphia, O., passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Born on February 12, 1937 at McDonald, Pennsylvania, Cathy was the daughter of the late Victor and Anna (Dragentt) Pershina.
In 1955, Cathy graduated from Midway High School. She was employed as a hairdresser for 40 years. Cathy was a member of the Buckeye Beagle Club.
On November 10, 1992, Cathy married Sam Orr, who survives of the home. Also surviving are her children Debbie (Jeff) Young of Uhrichsville, Bill (Deana) Orr of Uhrichsville and Sam. D. Orr II of Atlanta, Georgia; her siblings Betty (Putnam) Foley, Dorothy See, Frances Palmer and Barbara Gedman and three grandchildren Chase Orr, Rylie Orr and Stockton Young.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon, on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Robinson Run Cemetery in McDonald, Pennsylvania. No calling hours will be observed.
