Donna Maxine (Gowins) Jones

DONNA MAXINE JONES  

Donna Maxine Jones, age 92, of Uhrichsville, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, O., following a sudden illness. 

Born on January 4, 1929 in Uhrichsville, Donna is the daughter of the late Delbert Gowins and Alice Mae (Haines) Gowins Zimmerman.

Donna retired from Twin City Hospital, where she worked as a dietician.  She was a member of the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband Josiah Jones, her children Glen, Gary and John Jones and siblings Glen Gowins and Dorothy Howard.

Donna is survived by her son Dave Jones; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren and 5 great great great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Donna will be held at 1p.m., on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Rush Church Cemetery in Uhrichsville, with Pastor Brett Warkentine officiating.
