DORIS FAYE LEMONTE

Doris Faye LeMonte, age 92, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Country Club Retirement Campus in Dover, O., following a short illness.

Born June 17, 1931, in Dennison, O., Doris is the daughter of the Roy and Mary (Maffit) Parker.

Doris graduated from Dennison High School.  Doris and her husband owned and operated LeMonte Restaurant for many years.  She later was employed at McDonald’s in Uhrichsville.  She loved shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and meeting friends at McDonald’s.

Doris is survived by her two children Linda (Eugene) Cox of Uhrichsville and Ken LeMonte of Seven Hills, O.; her granddaughter Tara (Danny) Quillin; great grandchildren Brionna (Jeff) Murphy, Austin Watson, Lexi Watson (Ashton Warner), Ashton Grindle; great great grandson Thomas Murphy and one great great granddaughter on the way.

In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband Harold L. LeMonte, who passed away November 30, 2012; three sisters Betty McNeeley, Grace McCray and Bonnie Bond and three brothers Carl, Dean and Glenn Parker.

Father Jeff Coning will celebrate the funeral for Doris at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville. 

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7, (three hours prior to services) on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the funeral home.
