DOROTHY LOUISE BEST

Dorothy Louise Best, age 94, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Claymont Health and Rehab in Uhrichsville, following a lengthy illness.

Dorothy was born October 27, 1928 in Uhrichsville, the daughter of the late Carl L. and Francis M. (Branen) Best.

Dorothy graduated from New Philadelphia High School.  She was employed at Job and Family Services in Akron for 10 years, until her retirement in 1989. Dorothy enjoyed reading the Bible and crocheting.

Dorothy is survived by her guardian Vicki (Ed) Rufener of Dover, O.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her brother.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 11 a.m., at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. Mark Unrue officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.

Calling hours will be from 10 to 11, (one hour prior to services) on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
