Eileen L. Smith, age 88, formerly of Tuscarawas, and recently a resident of Park Village in Dover, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Union Hospital in Dover.
Born in Dennison, O., on August 25, 1927, Eileen was the daughter of the late Delbert E. and Edna M. (Affolder) Van Lehn.
In addition to her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her husband Hubert J. Smith, who passed away September 4, 2004; her son David E. Williams and a grandson Keith E. Williams.
Eileen graduated from Tuscarawas Warwick High School. She retired from Union Camp. Eileen enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, watching NASCAR, traveling, feeding and watching the birds and telling stories to her grandkids about “The Old Days”.
Eileen is survived by her grandson Keaton J. Williams; granddaughter Brienne J. (Ryan) Kilpatrick; great grandchildren Ellyson P., Brady R. and Coralyn E. Kilpatrick and daughter-in-law Connie L. Williams.
No calling hours or services will be observed. Graveside farewell for the family will be private.
