Gloria Jean (Gray) Davidson

GLORIA JEAN DAVIDSON

Gloria Jean Davidson, age 83, of Uhrichsville, passed away on May 28, 2021, at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation in Uhrichsville, O., following a period of declining health.

Born November 1, 1937 in Dennison, Gloria is the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie (Merrymen) Gray.

Gloria was employed at the Glove Factory in Dennison, Valley Manor Nursing Home in New Philadelphia and she was a waitress at local restaurants. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.  Gloria enjoyed spending time of the farm, playing cards, gardening, playing games on the TV and crossword puzzles.

On March 21, 1965, Gloria married Lenard L. Davidson.  Lenard passed away March 24, 2011.  Gloria is also preceded in death by a daughter Jody Ann Staley; 2 brothers Johnny Gray and Robert Gray and 4 sisters Gladys Able, Norma Law, Juanita Scott and Rosa Wright.

Gloria is survived by her children Norma Jean Davidson of Uhrichsville and Lenard (Tammy) Davidson of West Lafayette; sister Doris Shannon of Massillon; grandchildren Lenard Davidson III, Christopher Davidson, Rayven Davidson and one great grandchild Rylan Davidson.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Larry Malterer officiating.
