H. DOYLE KINSEY
H. Doyle Kinsey, age 83, of Uhrichsville, O., born January 2, 1932, in Rush Township, Uhrichsville, the son of the late Loy A. and Lila D. (Davidson) Kinsey, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at The Inn at Northwood Village in Dover, following a lengthy illness.
In 1949, Doyle graduated from Uhrichsville High School. He was employed at Warner and Swasey/Gradall, New Philadelphia School, Berea Oil and Gas and retired from Buckeye JVS, where he was a welding instructor. Doyle was an avid sports fan who enjoyed following his children and grandchildren in their sporting events. Doyle was a kind hearted man who never met a stranger. He loved his family and friends and the time he spent with them. Doyle also cherished his memories of his former students.
In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Lois (Schwab) Kinsey. They were married on October 10, 1951 and Lois passed away May 12, 2003; his brothers Dean and Vernon (Martha) Kinsey; his sisters Irma (Ed) Ghezzi and Dorothy (Robert) Dunlap.
Doyle is survived by his 4 sons and 2 daughters and their families Michael and Janet Kinsey of North Carolina, Nancy and Perry Grezlik of Gnadenhutten, Rick and Bonnie Kinsey of Uhrichsville, Chuck and Karen Kinsey of Dover, Todd and Sonja Kinsey of Dennison and Amy and Bob Troyer of Dover; his grandchildren Kevin and Angie Hewitt, Chris and Melissa Kinsey, Amber Kinsey, Luis and Lynette Duran, Brian (fiancé Michelle Cadle) Grezlik, Matt and Cortney Grezlik, Mike and Stacey Stewart, Tony and Heather Kinsey and Erica Kinsey, Logan Kinsey, Lacey Kinsey, Tara and Hector Vega, Travis (Brittney Householder) Kinsey, Kristen Troyer, Jake Troyer and Katie Troyer; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; his sister Thelma (Tocy) Kinsey; brother-in-law Al Arthurs; sisters-in-law Marguerite Schwab and Doris Fowler, along with his special friend Vivian Miller.
Funeral services for Doyle will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home Inc. in Uhrichsville with the Rev. Larry Malterer officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
