Harry "Tom" Thomas Demuth

HARRY “TOM” THOMAS DEMUTH         

Harry “Tom” Thomas Demuth, age 79, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, following a short illness. 

Tom was born November 4, 1941 in Dennison, O.  He was the son of the late Ralph and Martha (Treachle) Demuth.

In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death a brother, Fred Demuth and a granddaughter Paige Boswell.

In 1960, Tom graduated from Dennison High School.  He was employed for 37 years at the B & O Railroad, as a conductor, until his retirement in 2003.

On August 8, 1959, Tom married Mary (Nelson) Demuth, who survives of the home.  Also surviving are their children Randy (Jill) Demuth of Ft. Worth, Texas, Robin (Jim) Cunningham of Freeport, Rick (Lynn) Demuth of Uhrichsville and Rhonda Demuth of New Philadelphia; siblings Ann (Warren) Keith of Gnadenhutten, Mary Shull of Gnadenhutten, Ralph (B.J.) Demuth of Byesville and Larry (Judy) Demuth of New Philadelphia; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

In keeping with Tom’s wishes, no services or calling hours will be observed.
