Ilene Faye (Morton) Hoffman

ILENE FAYE HOFFMAN           

Ilene Faye Hoffman, age 87, of New Philadelphia, O., passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia, after a period of declining health.

Born on June 8, 1932, in Uhrichsville, Ilene is the daughter of the late George C. and Ruth A. (Keith) Morton.

Ilene was a homemaker who enjoyed watching children and spending time with her elderly friends. In addition to her parents, Ilene is preceded in death by her husband, Jay A. Hoffman, who she married December 25, 1949; son Robert Hoffman; brothers Raymond and Thomas Morton; sister Rose Morton and twin sister Isla Clark.

Ilene is survived by her children Twyla (Tom) Waters of Gnadenhutten and George Hoffman of Timple, Texas; along with 6 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and her dog “Rex”.

In keeping with Ilene’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be observed.
