Jan (Rectanus) Kappler

Jan Kappler (Rectanus), 79, of Uhrichsville died Friday, January 10, 2025 at Hennis Care Centre after a period of declining health.

Born on January 15, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Vivian (Edwards) Rectanus. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jon Rectanus.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dan Kappler of Uhrichsville, her son Jamie (Kathy) Kappler of Canton, Ohio, and her daughter Amy (Meredith) Volpe of Delaware, Ohio. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Mel, Adam, Owen, Jak, and Ridley.

In keeping with Jan’s wishes, there will be no services.
