Judith Ann Affolter, age 67, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia, following an extended illness.
Born on August 10, 1948 at Dennison, Judy was the daughter of the late William and Theda (Guthrie) Arter.
In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband John W. “Smoke” Affolter, who passed away March 13, 2013.
Judy was employed at numerous restaurants in the area. She loved to go to yard sales and play bingo.
Judy is survived by her siblings Carol (Dick) Roth of Strasburg, Bill (Rhonda) Arter of Uhrichsville and Adrian Arter of Uhrichsville; nieces and nephews Richard Roth Jr., Tammy Roth, Tonya (David) Weimer, Angela (Richard) Cortes, Tommy (Kristie) Armstrong; great nieces and nephews Devin Cortes, Lexie Cortes, Trinity Armstrong, Trevor Armstrong; a special great nephew Justus Armstrong; a special friend Mike Rickey and his daughter Tina Rolli, along with numerous brother and sister-in-laws.
Memorial services for Judy will be held at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Lisa Page Meese officiating.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m., (two hours prior to services) on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
