KENNETH M. ABBUHL

Kenneth M. Abbuhl, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his house in Sharon Valley, New Philadelphia, due to complications from cancer and Covid.

He was a son of the late Glenn and Hester Abbuhl of Uhrichsville, and was married to the former Linda Reichman on June 11, 1957 at Sharon Moravian Church by the late Rev. Richard E. Michel.

Ken served in the Naval Reserves for 8 years and Tuscarawas County Sheriffs Reserves for 12 years and was retired from Marlite in Dover.

The couple had 2 sons Robert of Tuscarawas and Ken Jr. (deceased) and 1 daughter Jan Renae Edwards (also deceased).  Five loving grandchildren, 2 deceased and 6 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are his sisters Judy Demuth and Karen Abbuhl and sister-in-law Goldie Abbuhl.  His only brother Gary Abbuhl is deceased.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service is planned for Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Lloyd Gooden.  Burial will follow at Sharon Moravian Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 12 to 1, on Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church.
