LELA K. DALE
Lela K. Dale, age 65, of Kimbolton, O., passed away on Friday, June7, 2024, as a result of an ATV accident.
Born September 19, 1958 in Dennison, O., Lela was the daughter of the late Robert Roy and Betty K. (Anslow) Reichman.
A graduate of Indian Valley South High School, Lela was employed for 22 years at Pike Peak Campground, where she was in maintenance. Lela was a member of the Flame of Pentecost Church in Dover. She was raised a Christian. Lela loved camping, working in the park, golf cart rides through the park with her husband and spending time with her grandkids. Her favorite color was purple.
On May 28, 1988, Lela married John Dale, who survives of the home. Also surviving are her children Sommer (Damon) Meager and James (Deanna) Schwendiman; sister Lula Chambers; brother Lawrence (Gary) Reichman; grandchildren Tajah Roberts, Cambria Schwendiman, Ryker Schwendiman, Emery Schwendiman, Brendon (Jenna) Meager and Austin Meager; her dog Gizmo and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lela is preceded in death by a son John Schwendiman who passed in 1998; sister Luenetta Page and brother-in-law Bill Chambers.
A celebration of life will be held on June 21, 2024 at 4 p.m., at 7088 Edwards Ridge Road, Uhrichsville and a second one on June 29, 2024 at 6 p.m., at the Pike Peak Campground, 75959 Vandalia Lane, Kimbolton, O., 43749.
