LOIS CATHERINE WYCKOFF
Lois Catherine Wyckoff, age 89, of Gnadenhutten, O., passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Riverside Manor in Newcomerstown, following a lengthy illness.
Born on February 4, 1926, at Washington, D.C., Lois was the daughter of the John W. and Norma A. (Baker) Mahoney. Lois was a homemaker and a member of the Gnadenhutten Moravian Church. She enjoyed bowling and watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and WWF Wrestling on television.
On July 16, 1973, Lois married Joe Wyckoff in Moundsville, W. Va., he is survived of the home. Also surviving are four children Carol (Randy) Armstrong of Gnadenhutten, Ralph G. (Margret) Riggs Jr. of Heidelberg, Germany, Jay (Lori) Riggs of Strasburg and Connie (Rod) English of Gnadenhutten; sister Joyce (Robin) Hutcherson of Newville, PA; brother Leo (Sophia) Mahoney of Belcamp, Maryland; 6 grandchildren Troi (Jim) McKelvey, Jennifer Smith, Jason Riggs, David (Naybis) Riggs, Jennifer Riggs and Brandon English; 7 great grandchildren Kasey (Sam) Poorman, Tyler McKelvey, Makenzie Smith, Claudia Riggs, Gabriella Riggs, Christopher Riggs and Ellanore Gerhard and 1 great great grandson Abel Poorman.
Funeral services for Lois will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. Darrell Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Gnadenhutten Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the funeral home.
