MARGARET ALMA (TATMAN) WRIGHT

Margaret Alma (Tatman) Wright, age 90, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Jessie (Irvin) Tatman, who preceded her in death. Margaret was born on June 13, 1933, in Friendship (Scioto County) O. and moved to Rush Township, Tuscarawas County, in 1940.

Margaret retired from Laurel Valley Oil Co. after 32 years and she was a Township Clerk for 24 years.

On December 14, 1952, Margaret married Gerald “Gary” Wright, who is deceased 12-30-2007.  Also preceding Margaret in death were two brothers Charles and Dallas (Betty) Tatman, sister-in-law Fred (Jocelyn) Wright; granddaughter Amanda Burnem and foster brother Charles “Butch” Tatman.

Margaret is survived by two daughters Alma (Wimp) Quillin of Uhrichsville and Sandi (Thomas) Edwards of Dennison; three grandchildren Gary Quillin, Ryan (Holly) Quillin, and Jennifer (Travis) Copeland; seven great grandchildren Dakota, Kaylynn, Sydney, Shae, Wyatt, Lily and Decklin; foster brother Orville (Deb) Tatman and Bill (Chris) Irvin; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Elsie Tatman; brother-in-law Terry (Polly) and Ron (Mary) Wright all of Uhrichsville.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, no services or calling hours will be observed.
