Mary Jean McGaha, age 57, of Tippecanoe, passed on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Union Hospital in Dover, following a short illness.
Born in Dennison, O., on April 22, 1958, Mary was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Peggy Lou (Burkhart) McGaha.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by 2 brothers Johnny and Benny McGaha.
In 1976, Mary graduated from Lakeland High School. She was employed at Rem Ohio in New Concord as a home health care aide. Mary was Methodist by faith and a member of the former Lakeland Boosters. She enjoyed collecting purses and going to yard sales with her niece Dawnatella. Mary loved to spend time with her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews watching them in their sporting events.
Mary is survived by her significant other Billie Parrigan of the home; her siblings Carol Huston of Cambridge, Clinton (Carman) McGaha of Cambridge, Tommy (Annabelle Toney) McGaha of Hawley, Texas and Martha (Steve Burdette) of Tippecanoe, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mary will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home Inc. at Uhrichsville with the Pastor Jim McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at Mays
Cemetery in Tippecanoe.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., (two hours prior to services) on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the funeral home.
