MICHAEL DEAN SHAMEL

Michael Dean Shamel, age 71, of Uhrichsville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Born November 12, 1951 in Dennison, Michael is the son of the late Donald D. and Mary Kate (Little) Shamel.

In 1971, Michael graduated from Claymont High School.  He was a former deputy sheriff and was employed at numerous truck driving jobs.  Michael enjoyed deer hunting, four wheeling and shooting guns.

Michael is survived by his son Michael D. Shamel II of Columbus, his sister Patricia Shamel of Uhrichsville; a niece Angela (Larry) Colaner and his dog “Raven”.

In keeping with Michael’s wishes, no services or calling hours will be observed.
