NAOMI LOU STEAD
Naomi Lou Stead, age 82, of Dover, O., formerly of Uhrichsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Hennis Care Center in Dover, following a brief illness.
Born on July 16, 1933 at Gilmore, Naomi was the daughter of the late Darl H. Brehm and Jessie M. (Pence) Brehm Carrothers.
Naomi spent the last 7 years living with her son Jack, where she enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family.
Naomi is survived by her children Jack L. Meredith of Dover, David M. (Linda) Meredith of Abilene, Texas, Diana (Eugene) Barkley of Bowerston and Timothy Meredith of Scio; her siblings Mary Myers of Uhrichsville, Bill (Linda) Brehm of Dennison and Don “Butch” Brehm of New Philadelphia; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Naomi is preceded in death by her husband Carl Stead Jr., who passed away April 27, 2007; a son Horace “Durango” Morehead Jr. and 5 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Naomi will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc., at Uhrichsville with the Pastor Dale Ickes officiating. Burial will follow at Rush Community Church Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 11 to 1, (two hours prior to services) on Friday, August 14, 2015 at the funeral home.
