Patricia Jean (Jackson) Albaugh

PATRICIA JEAN ALBAUGH

Patricia Jean Albaugh, age 89, of New Philadelphia, O., passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare Truman House in New Philadelphia.

Born December 28, 1935 in Uhrichsville (Maple Grove), Patricia was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred Jackson.

Patricia graduated from Uhrichsville High School and received her nursing degree from Aultman Nursing School.  She was a nurse at Union Hospital and Twin City Hospital until her retirement in 1996.  She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

On September 17, 1957, Patricia married Joseph L. Albaugh, who survives of the home.  They have enjoyed 68 years of marriage together. Also surviving are their children Joseph (Lucila) Albaugh of New Philadelphia, Jeffrey (Laura) Albaugh of Brunswick and Mark (Heather) Albaugh of Gnadenhutten; a brother Floyd “Buzz” (Patty) Jackson of Florida; six grandchildren Christopher Albaugh, Jennifer (Yasu) Tanida, Justin Albaugh, Jacob (Tasha) Albaugh, Alexandra (Tyler) Bailey and Justin Walker; nine great grandchildren and two great granddaughters on the way.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by a son James L. Albaugh, who passed away June 22, 2016; two brothers and four sisters.

In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, no calling hours or services will be observed.

Graveside services will be held within the month of July and this website will be updated when final arrangements have been made.
