ROBERT ELLSWORTH ARMSTRONG III

Robert Ellsworth Armstrong III, age 74, of Uhrichsville, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, at his residence, following a lengthy illness.

Born May 16, 1949 in Canton, Robert is the son of Elizabeth A. Cowley Armstrong and the late Robert E. Armstrong II.

In 1967, Robert graduated from Tusky Valley High School and served his country in the United States Marines.  He was employed for 40 years at the Iron Worker Local 550. 

Robert’s hobbies were hunting, looking for mushrooms, farming and riding his tractor. 

On December 11, 1968, Robert married Karla S. (Brents) Armstrong, who survives of the home.  Also surviving are their children Mathew (Kelly) Armstrong, Khristy R. Hurless, Lisa N. (Mark) Benson and Stefenie T. Armstrong; sibling Mark T. (Debbie) Armstrong and Kathe R. Armstrong grandchildren who he loved Jeremy (MacKenzie) Armstrong, Cody  Benson and his wife, Katie Armstrong, Rain Graves, Emily Armstrong, Trinity Graves, Mason Benson, Clarity Graves, Savanna Benson, Zach Hurless, Teegan Benson and Holden Benson; great grandchildren Hadley Jo Armstrong, Theo Armstrong and Keontae Brooks and his dog “Nelson”.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, no services or calling hours will be observed.
