Rochelle "Shelly" Anne (Bowers) Slator

Rochelle Anne, "Shelly," Slator, age 67, of New Philadelphia, OH, passed away on November 23, 2025.

The daughter of the late James Leslie and Karen Lorain Bowers, Shelly was born October 29, 1958, in Weirton, WV. She married Thomas John Slator on October 28, 1979, and had three children - Andrew of the home, Brystal (Chris) Walton of New Philadelphia, and Nathan of Knoxville, TN. After their divorce, Shelly moved to her dream home and worked hard to enjoy the outdoors. 

Shelly was preceded in death by her father, friends, and her beloved dogs, among them included her latest companions, Rudy and Jessie. 

Her survivors include her mother, brother James (Barbara) Bowers of Myrtle Beach, her children, her granddaughter, Luciana, extended family and friends. 

The family will be holding a private service to honor Shelly's life. We ask that in lieu of flowers, please take a moment to enjoy the outdoors, preferably with your doggo, as Shelly would have loved to do one more time.
