RONALD CLETUS BROWNING

Ronald Cletus Browning, age 83, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice Lifecare Truman House in New Philadelphia.

Ronald was born February 23, 1941 in Dennison, the son of the late Cletus and Agnes (Grandison) Browning.

In 1960, Ronald graduated from Uhrichsville High School.  He was first employed at Rainsburger Appliance and then Tusco Manufacturing as a shear operator.  He loved tinkering and taking things apart and putting them back together, jigsaw puzzles, picking locks of all kinds and the Guardians baseball.

Ronald is survived by his daughters Holly (James “Bucky”) Myers of Uhrichsville and Teresa (Benjamin) Gunter of Cleveland; sister Linda Cromley of Uhrichsville; grandchildren Elyse (Christopher) Brillhart of New Philadelphia and Maseo Browning of Seattle, Washington; great grandchild Benton Brillhart along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his wife Rose Ann (Stocker) Browning, who passed away April 3, 2016; a brother Richard Browning, and a brother-in-law Dick Cromley.

Funeral services for Ronald will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 1 p.m., at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville, with the Rev. Mark Unrue officiating.  Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Uhrichsville.

Calling hours will be from 11 to 1, (two hours prior to services) on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
