Scott Douglas Moody

SCOTT DOUGLAS MOODY

Scott Douglas Moody, age 58, of Dennison, O., went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at his home.

Born May 22, 1961 in Dennison, O., Scott is the son of Violet (Soulsby) Moody and the late Donald Moody.

In 1979, Scott graduated from Claymont High School.  He was employed at the Times Reporter as a pressman, for 29 years until his retirement.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  Scott was also an avid OSU and Cleveland Browns fan.

In addition to his father, Scott is preceded in death by his brother Pat Moody; grandparents Eugene and Eleanor Soulsby and Samuel and Mildred Moody and his mother and father-in-law.

On November 20, 1993, Scott married Donna Jo (Davis) Moody, who survives of the home.  Also surviving are his children Ryan (Destiny) Moody and Melinda Zurcher; siblings Donn Moody, Susan (Mike) Harris and Michele Moody; grandchildren Haylee and Zane Bower and Briella Moody, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Scott will be held from 2 to 4 on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. in Uhrichsville.
