Shella Kay Hankins, age 56, of Dennison, O., passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at her residence, following a short illness.
Born December 28, 1958, at Dennison, Shella was the daughter of the late Larry Ray and June (Roach) Watson.
Shella was a lifelong resident of the area and a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Shella is preceded in death by her brother Jeff Watson and sister-in-law Kelcy Roach.
Shella is survived by her husband Ralph D. “Hank” Hankins, of the home; her children Ginny (Shaune) Johnson, Dale E. (Mike) Emery Jr. ; siblings Kathy (companion Larry) Barker, Donna (Dennis) Mathews, Ted Roach, Larry Watson, Ernie (Wendy) Watson and Mark (companion Leanne) Watson, grandchildren Chelcy (Bubba) Hayes, Kelcy (fiancé Casey Henery) Jones, Ryan Pall, Cordelia Emery, Alexa Johnson and Marah Johnson; great grandchildren Paycin, Aleigha, Brinlynn and Kannon Hayes; mother-in-law Rachel Hankins; 3 sisters-in-law; ex-husband and father of her children Dale Emery and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for Shella will be held at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc. at Uhrichsville with the Pastor Chris Atwood officiating.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m., (two hours prior to services) on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the funeral home.
