TERESA KAY HINES

Teresa Kay Hines, age 65, of Cadiz, Ohio, passed away following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio.

The daughter of Albert Eldon and Mary Louise (Bier) Bland, Teresa was born in Dennison, Ohio on September 2, 1960. 

In 1978,  Teresa graduated from Claymont High School.

A  devoted wife and mother, Teresa enjoyed online shopping and going out to eat.  She loved cooking and baking and spending time with her family.

On September 23, 2000, Teresa married James Hines, who survives of the home.  Also surviving are their children Lance (Shelly) Ketchem of New York, Clayton (Daylenna) Ketchem of Dennison, Ohio, Sean (Alisha) Ketchem of Uhrichsville, Ohio and Dawn (James Parsons) Deeds of Beach City, Ohio; her siblings Raymond (Carol) Bland of Dennison, Ohio, Cathy (Tim) Bickford of Gnadenhutten, Ohio and Rosanna (Luther) Handy of Sebring, Ohio; grandchildren Kelsey, Marissa, Marcus, Ozden James, Carmella, Jordynn, Zayden, Skyler and Bryson; and her dogs Troy and Duke.

In addition to her parents, Teresa is preceded in death by her brother and dogs Lil Bit and Lady.

Funeral services for Teresa will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the Uhrich-Hostettler English Funeral Home, Inc., in Uhrichsville, Ohio with the Pastor Sandy Mann officiating.  Burial will follow at Hines Cemetery in Cadiz.

Family and friends may call from 11 to 1, (two hours prior to services) on Friday, at the funeral home.
