WILLIAM JOSEPH MOORE
William Joseph Moore, age 87, of Uhrichsville, O., passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia, after a period of declining health.
Born May 26, 1928, at Dennison, William was the son of the late Marion and Mary (Bell) Moore.
William was employed at Larson Sewer Pipe and Alsco, until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene in Uhrichsville.
In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife Alma Truth (Marsh) Moore, whom he married on February 7, 1947 and who passed away November 21, 2009; a son Dean Moore who passed away in 2000; a brother John Moore and three sisters Florence, Marion and Myrtle.
William is survived by his children Larry (Georgia) Moore of Uhrichsville, Mark (Sharon) Moore of Uhrichsville, Sharon (Dean) Doane of Tippecanoe and Rick Moore of Uhrichsville and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In keeping with William’s wishes, no services or calling hours will be observed. Burial will be held at Rush Community Church Cemetery at a later date.
