INGE E. HARALOVIC
Inge E. “Omi” Haralovic, age 68, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, formerly of Mentor, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at her residence following a brief illness.
Inge was born March 19, 1953 in Giessen, Germany, the daughter of the late Friedrich and Elsa (Hoessler) Klein. While in Germany, Inge met Gene Haralovic Sr., who was in the military. They came back to the United States in 1976 and got married in Mentor, Ohio, where they lived until moving to New Philadelphia, Ohio. They spent many years at Leesville Lake where they enjoyed fishing and spending time on their houseboat. She was employed at AVI as a catering manager for 25 years, until her retirement in 2018. While at home after her retirement, Inge loved watching the birds from her living room window.
Inge is survived by her children Gene (Renee Olsen) Haralovic Jr. of the home and Bianca (Chuck) Ayers of Bolivar; sister Doris Loth and brothers Dieter Klein, Ulrich Hössler and Karl Heinz Klein all of Germany; grandchildren Brittany (Brian) Kroft, Kali Olsen, Tyler Ayers and Conner Ayers; and her only great grandchild whom she adored Bryar Kroft.
In addition to her parents, Inge is preceded in death by her husband Gene Haralovic Sr., who passed away on June 12, 1998; sister Sabine Zatloukal and a brother-in-law Jurgen Loth.
In keeping with Inge’s wishes, cremation will take place and she will be interred beside her husband at Sherrodsville Memorial Gardens, at a later date.
