JOHN JAMES PAGE

            

John James Page, age 95, of Uhrichsville, passed away on December 22, 2020, at Park Village Health Care Center in Dover, following a period of declining health.

 

Born December 7, 1925, in Dennison, John is the son of the late John and Elizabeth Page.  He grew up in Uhrichsville and graduated from Uhrichsville High School.  He joined the U. S. Navy and served his country for two years.

John worked for Evans Sewer Pipe for 44 years.  He retired at the age of 65.  He was baptized at St. John AME and Praise Church as a young man.  John started a Boxing Club for young boys in Uhrichsville and they did very well in competitions.  He also started the Pillars Club to help Church and Community.  John loved helping those in need in Tuscarawas County. 

 

John married his wife Ann, the love of his life in Cambridge, on September 25, 1949.  Ann passed away on December 12, 2015.

 

John is survived by his daughters Andra Marshall and Maryann Denmon; five granddaughters, ten great grandchildren.

 

John will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
