LINDA MARIE WARNER

Linda Marie Warner, age 72 of Uhrichsville, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 4, 1948, the daughter of the late Bernard Joseph Gagner and Elizabeth Mattie (Larabee) Gagner Miller.

In 1966, Linda graduated from Claymont High School.  She was employed for her father at the Western Auto in Uhrichsville and Barbour Publishing as a publishing consultant.  Linda was also Mayor of Uhrichsville from 1996 to 2000.  She served on City Council for 9 years and was a former church trustee at Rush Community Church of the Nazarene.  Linda enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events, she loved to cook and have family in for special events.

On November 11, 1967, Linda married Leonard G. Warner, who survives of the home.  Also surviving are their children Shannon (companion Tommy Fantin) Allmen of Uhrichsville, Doug (Tina) Warner of Uhrichsville, Kimberly (Curt) Armstrong of Uhrichsville and James (Chasity) Warner of Dennison; grandchildren Brendan Allmen, Katlyn Buehler, Chelcie (Josh Green) Warner, Lindsey (Matt) Bennington, Alexis Armstrong, Veronica Armstrong, Garrett Armstrong, Kyle (Jenna) Warner, Darran (Sydnee) Warner, Dustin Warner, Tyler Warner, Taylor Warner and Kashton Warner; two sponsored children Huder Abraham Sanchez and Marie Yolinda Mendex in Nicaragua; numerous great grandchildren; siblings Michael (Susan) Gagner of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Kathleen (Kelly) Pearch of Dennison, Theresa (Randy) Shultz of Greeley, Colorado, Clara (Tom) Fries of North Carolina; sisters-in-law Bev Feckovick of Oscoda, Michigan and Sandra Avon of Uhrichsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by a brother Daniel Feckovick; a brother-in-law Gene Avon; a sister-in-law Cheryl Scott and in-laws Harry and Edna Warner.

Funeral services for Linda will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Rush Community Church of the Nazarene in Uhrichsville, with the Pastor Brett Warkentine officiating. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m., (two hours prior to services) on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the church. 

Masks and social distancing will be required.  If you would like to attend the service from the safety of your car in the church parking lot, the service will be broadcast on 104.1 FM.
