ROBERT EDMOND DONOHOE

Robert Edmond Donohoe, age 88, of Gnadenhutten, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia.

Born on June 1, 1932, Robert is the son of the late Thomas and Blanche (Whitaker) Donohoe.

Robert graduated from St. Mary’s High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was employed for 25 years as a mill roller at Greer Steel.  Robert enjoyed watching westerns on TV, crosswords puzzles and shooting pool.  He attended Immaculate Conception Church.

Robert is survived by his children Debra (Nathan) Morrison and Sheri Hicks; grandchildren Miranda (Allex) Armstrong, Andrew (Emilie) Donohoe, Ty Hicks and Trista Donohoe; great grandchildren Kaylen, Jase, Kash and Ady and a great grandson on the way and his dog Zoey.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann (Besozzi) Donohoe, who passed away in 2016 and two sisters and five brothers.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, no services or calling hours will be observed.
