So sorry for your loss, he was a great man. He was also a great manager, and friend. I had the pleasure of working with him and he taught me a lot of lessons for inside the workplace as well as some life lessons. Gonna miss ya, Baker! Avy,
My wife just discovered the news of Bobby's passing. I can't imagine what you're experiencing right now. So difficult. So numbing. So unbelievable. He's still young; we're still young. I pray you are finding strength in Christ's grace. Yet, our humanity begs for answers and more time. Be comforted and strengthened, Avy. I'm saddened for your sudden loss.
Growing up in Uhrichsville, I was always afraid of Bobby. He was tough. And even tougher on the football field. But following graduation from Claymont HS and into our early adulthood, I recall how his demeanor softened. Maybe he matured. Or, more likely, I matured and saw the qualities others already appreciated about him such as his kindness, helpfulness, and loyalty. I regretted not getting to know him more deeply.
Nick will need you even more now. Fortunately, Bobby was a good father and example of a respected man. Be strong, Avy. Christ is faithful. He is an ever-present help. He won't forsake you.

I am finding less time to come and visit my dearest relatives who I spent many many times with as a child at your house and store. Every time I lose a friend or relative I sit down and think of my childhood days. We didn't have a lot but we were happy. Your family was always so special to me as a child, I loved helping my mother raise a garden every year and can and bring all those goodies to you all as we enjoyed spending those short hours and minutes together each time we came to Unhrichsville. I seldom get away from my home since my husband is in a wheelchair most of the time and can't be left home alone for long hours at a time or I would certainly be there to comfort you Deb and all your family. Loved the last time we were together at the reunion at the park where Barb, Bill, me and the girls got to see all. God bless you all and comfort you at this time.

Thank you so much for reaching out! I too remember hundreds of trips to the Neininger store and Bob and I just laughed the other day because he was saying my mom raised both of us since we were so young when we started to date. I appreciate so much your memories. They mean everything.
